Peter Hobart Primary Center

When hybrid learning was implemented at Peter Hobart School the staff wanted to give the online students a sense of connection to the school community. We created activities based on active listening for both the online classroom and at home.

The Native practice of a Talking Stick allowed students to learn the history and implementation of the practice.

Kits were assembled for the students to make at home and share during online class. Along with other at home projects, a 3-part online workshop on emotions as weather elements offered an opportunity for discussion and connecting with yoga!
